Wiley Ross Wade

Mr. Wiley Ross Wade, 76, of Newnan, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Born October 16, 1945, in Sargent, he was a son of the late Claude Wade and the late Nettie Hanson Wade. Ross was a member of Arnco Baptist Church and was a wonderful family man who loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid hunter, but also enjoyed feeding and watching the deer that would come into his yard. He was a big fan of old country music, especially Alan Jackson. Ross was the youngest of seven children and is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Edward Wade, Jackson Wade, Betty Broome, Mary Dearman, Shelby Ayers, and Connie Strickland.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Dianne Wade; daughter, Crystal Jumper (Michael) of Braselton, sons; Scott Wade (Lisa) of Newnan, and Richard Wade of Heard County; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Tim Stitcher officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
