Timothy Roy "Tim" Patterson, 47, of Newnan, died Thursday, November 14, 2019 at his residence.

Born July 16, 1972 in Newnan, he was a son of Brenda Camilla Rigsby Patterson and the late Roy Thompson Patterson.  Tim was a member of Welcome Road Baptist Church who loved his family and friends unconditionally.  He loved animals and was a big fan of dirt track racing.  He enjoyed selling produce and fishing.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Patterson; brothers, Michael Patterson (Kimberly Powell), and Tracy Patterson, (Katie), all of Newnan; sister, Michelle Hendrix (Daniel Mosley) of Newnan; nieces, Nicole Buster (Rodney), Jessica Patterson (June), Tiffany Patterson, Brooke Crawford, Cadence Buster, and Haylie Powell; nephews, Thomas Beckom, Jr., Jimmy Hendrix, Jacob Brown, and Hunter Powell; extended family, Danny & Jean Farmer, Mark & Jennifer Meadows, Greg & Amanda Farmer, Mackenzie, Grayson, Hunter, Hudson, and Hughston; caregivers, June Patterson and Kimberly Powell, and the staff of Pruitt Hospice, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Welcome Road Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Odom officiating.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel.  Tim will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Greg Farmer, Grayson Farmer, Rodney Buster, Thomas Beckom, Jr., Scottie White, and Mark Meadows.
