Roy Allen "Bubba" Thompson

Mr. Roy Allen “Bubba” Thompson, Sr., 70, of Newnan, passed away on, Monday, April 7, 2025, at Newnan Piedmont Hospital.

Born October 24, 1954, in Newnan, to L. O. Thompson, Sr. and the late Joyce Lewis Thompson. Mr. Thompson owned and operated Thompson Total Comfort HVAC for over 30 years. He was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He enjoyed trips to Panama City Beach, golfing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Sewell Thompson and brother, Joe Thompson.

In addition to his father, survivors include his life partner, Nancy Spivey Goddard; children, Amy Uscher (Mike), Roy Allen Thompson, Jr., James Brian Thompson (Laura) and Matt Goddard (Bernie); grandchildren, Hunter Cabrera, Adrianna Thompson, Nicholas Thompson, Myka Uscher, CiCi Uscher, Logan Goddard, and Brody Goddard; and brothers, Loy Thompson (Leslie) and Wesley Thompson (Sandi).

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Jim Veitch officiating. Inurnment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home on Friday.
