Mrs. Rose M. Wiggins, 86, of Senoia, widow of the late Wm. Herschel Wiggins, died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born November 23, 1933 in Senoia, the daughter of the late James Thomas “Tommy” McCullough and the late Frankadel Byrom McCullough. Mrs. Wiggins was a member of First Baptist Church of Haralson. She was born off Luther Bailey Road, a short distance from where she will be buried; she moved away as a child but came back 30 years ago, as this was home. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Nita M. Mundy, Tena McCullough, Michael McCullough, Joe McCullough and J. T. “Buddy” McCullough, Jr.
Survivors include her son, Thomas W. “Tommy” Wiggins (Deborah) of Loganville; daughter, Tracy L. Hart (Barry) of Sharpsburg; grandson, Brett T. Wiggins (Jamie) of Covington; great-granddaughter, Emily Wiggins; and numerous nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Haralson with Pastor Chris McElmurray and Donny Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel in Newnan.
