Patsy Pierce

Patsy M. Pierce, 87, of Newnan, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2024, at her residence.

Born on May 7, 1936, in Newnan, to the late Clarence Hewlet Masdon and the late Willie B. Yarborough Masdon. Patsy was a hard working and extremely independent woman. She retired from Bellsouth after 41 years of loyal service to the company. She enjoyed cooking for others, and she will be remembered as a caring mother figure to anyone that was lucky enough to know her. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jenny Masdon and brother, Jerry Masdon.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Pierce Friedman; grandson, Ritchie Masdon Friedman and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, of whom she also considered her children.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Hillcrest Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the funeral home.
