Noah F. Burnett (Junior), 95, made his triumphant transition to glory to enter eternal rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
He was born on June 9, 1929, the son of the late Noah Burnett Sr and Liza Jane Bowman. Junior was a faithful man of God, and the consummate family man, his entire life revolved around both his biological family and his church family. He took great pride in being of service to his church and his family. Whether it was time or money he would give all he had to those in need. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beautiful and devoted wife of 72 years Oveline Burnett and siblings Edna Wooten, Pauline Romine, Lorine Dooley, Mildred Roughton, Beatrice Haggard, Dora Kuenzel.
He is survived by his three daughters, Dianne Moore of Newnan, Sue Barnes of Moreland, and Michelle Burnett of Newnan; brother, Leonard Burnett (Phyllis) of Hedgesville, West Virginia; grandchildren, Tracy Nash (Lee) of Commerce, Chris Moore (Karen) of Hogansville, Christy Eason (Kyle) of Newnan, Amanda Harper (Clay) of Newnan; great grand-children, Andrew Skelton, Rebekah Asuit (Jacob), Hailey Abercrombie (Shawn), Bryer Roberts, Sydney Moore, Christopher Moore Jr., Brandon Curtis, Olivia Moore, Caleb Moore, Addison Harper; and great-great grand-children, Jovi Ann Asuit, Emma Leigh Asuit, Autumn Sky Asuit, Remington Asuit, Eli Lee-Moore, and Hazel Abercrombie.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel with Brother Kevin Couch officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens 5755 Mallory Rd. College Park, Ga. 30349. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service, on Thursday, at the funeral home.
