Mark Allen Skuczas of Greenville, Ga (formerly of Fairburn, Ga) passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday September 22, 2021.
He was born April 3, 1965 in Saginaw, Michigan to Timothy and the late Marlene (Weiss) Skuczas, moving to Georgia in 1987.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Kimberly (Praay) Skuczas and his children; Michelle (Adam) Mayfield, Yorktown Va, Kelli Kuhr, (Christopher Bryant), Newnan Ga and Timothy R (Shanice) Skuczas, Douglasville Ga, and a special son Demarcus and Ty Ball, Atlanta Ga. His grandsons, Matt Mayfield, Sean, Aidan, and Dylan Read, Kolby Seabolt, Jackson and Colten Skuczas, and granddaughter, Alani Ball. He also leaves his sister, Kimberly Snook, Bay City Mi, a niece Adrienne Kilts, and nephews Michael, Caleb and Brandon Snook (Saginaw, Mi).
Mark was known throughout Georgia in the concrete and construction industry. He started at Pioneer Concrete Pumping, culminating in Marks Concrete Pumping. He helped build Turner Field, Phillips Arena in Atlanta and Anheuser-Busch Bottling plant in Cartersville, Ga. In recent years, he was employed by Eagle Excavating as a master welder - fabricator and diesel mechanic.
Mark enjoyed life as an avid hunter, fisherman, camper and sports enthusiast. From Nascar to Braves Baseball to head coach of Fairburn Little League's "Scrappers" in 2001 and 2002.
Those wishing to say farewell, to his larger than life personality, a memorial service/visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Hillcrest Chapel.
