Louise Burkinshaw Obituary

Mrs. Louise Addie Burkinshaw, 89, of Newnan, widow of the late William Burkinshaw, Jr., died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her residence.

Born February 22, 1931 in Beverly, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Roger Wilkins and the late Mildred Christensen Wilkins. Mrs. Burkinshaw was a member of Faith Creek United Methodist Church and enjoyed quilting and reading. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Burkinshaw, III, and her siblings.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law and caregiver, Cheri Burkinshaw of Newnan; daughters, Jennifer Marks of Lebanon, Maine, and Carrie Burkinshaw of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Heather Burkinshaw-Stanley (Henry), Becky Labiche (Caleb), Amanda Marks, Brittany Gomez, Kate Houle, and Bobby Houle; and great-grandchildren, Isaiah Burkinshaw, Grayson Stanley, Lila Stanley, Jayce Labiche, Lilah Gomez, and Ellie Gomez.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
