Linda Diane (Jones) Clark

Known as a Southern Lady with a warm, loving, and gentle spirit, Linda Diane Clark passed peacefully on August 11, 2023,in Newnan, Georgia.
 

Known to most as Diane, she married John Clark in 1968 and dedicated her life to caring for her family. At age of 47, Diane returned to the workforce and had a successful career retiring as an office manager for The State of Georgia Soil and Water Conservation office in 2008.  She had an eye for decorating and a heart for dogs, particularly her sweet Lego. Diane had a compassionate heart to love and serve others selflessly all of her life.  A Godly woman who set an example for her daughter and other women to admire and follow. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Clark.  
 

Survivors family members include her husband, John Clark; daughter, Andrea Mejia (Porfirio); grandchildren, Trey McClary (Kayleigh), Hayley Reese (John), Nathan Mejia (Kayla), Megan Mejia (Blaise), Zach Mejia (Aubrey), Caleb Mejia (Alley), Jacqueline Clark, Kalyn Clark, many great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Clark.
 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor John Warnock officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday at the funeral home.
