Mrs. Leeanna Farice Lucas Campbell, 82, of Franklin, died Sunday, January 12, 2020 at West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange.
Born September 23, 1937 in Gallipolis, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Forrest Graham Lucas and the late Mamie Childers Lucas. Mrs. Campbell was of the Baptist and was a homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed playing word search, coloring books, and keeping up with friends on Facebook. She also enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Campbell.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Ward of Franklin; son, Terry L. Akers (Kathleen) of Waco; sister, Louella Long of Kenova, WV; grandchildren, Mark Ward, Tonya McDonald, Robert Reagan, and Josh Ward; great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Ward, Hannah Morris, Logan Ward, Alexis McDonald, and Anthony McDonald; great-great-grandchildren, Kynleigh McCollum and Addison McCollum; the father of her children, Delbert Akers, Jr. of Pritchard, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at New Heights Baptist Church in Sharpsburg with Mr. Ricky McDonald, Sr. officiating.
