Kevin Michael Vance

Mr. Kevin Michael Vance, 41, of Grantville, died unexpectedly, on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

Born February 8, 1981, in Atlanta, he was a son of William Charles Vance and Maria Vance. Kevin was a hard worker and a devoted husband and father who loved his wife and son very much. Most would describe him as the life of the party. He was always quick with a joke and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Kevin loved music and liked to rap. He also loved politics and was always ready to engage in conversation. He loved to build and fix things with his son by his side. But mostly, he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Lauren M. Vance, and their son, Lawson William Vance; parents, William and Maria Vance of McDonough; brother, William Casey Vance (Summer) of Locust Grove; sister, Jessica Leigh Adams (Josh) of McDonough; his maternal grandfather, Jack Gallof of Jonesboro; biological father, Mike Mitchell; and nieces and nephews, Jack, Ayliena, Dylan, Cayden, Grayson, and Nora.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Crossroads Church with Pastor John Hobbs and Pastor Christopher Bush officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Church, on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
