Judith Lynn Dinson

Mrs. Judith Lynn Dinson, 79, of Newnan, died Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born September 6, 1944, in Huntington, New York, she was a daughter of the late Charles Franklin Nichols, and the late Josephine Patricia Varley Nichols. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ronkonkoma, New York. Judy loved her family and enjoyed making every day a special family day, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Dinson and her husband Robert enjoyed travel and like to go on cruises and to Atlantic City. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Nichols.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Robert K. Dinson; son, James R. Dinson (Donna); daughter, Janet L. Bavaro (Thomas); brother, Ralph Nichols; grandchildren, Jennifer Furfaro, James Furfaro, Matthew Dinson, Timothy Dinson, Joseph Dinson, Brianna Celentano, Robert Celentano, and Lea Celentano; and several nieces.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
