Mrs. Juanita Wigley Wyche, 91, of Moreland, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Avalon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 1, 1928 in Manchester, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Richard Calvin Wigley and the late Ellen Missouri Hanvey Wigley. Mrs. Wyche worked at several local jobs in textile, restaurant and sewing companies and retired from West Point Pepperell in Grantville after 35 years of service. In addition to her parents and five siblings, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Bussey Talmadge Howard of Manhattan, NY, father of five children, Joseph “TL” Garrett of Manchester, GA, father of one child, and Thomas Clarke Wyche of Moreland, GA; a daughter, Dianne Howard Branch; and a grandson, Ricky Clay.
Survivors include her five children, Betty Howard Hammock (James) of Covington, Helen Howard Spears (Larry) of Moreland, Lucile Howard of Pine Mountain, Bo Howard of Manchester, and Marlene Garrett Roberson of Newnan; grandchildren, Mignan Spears Richardson (Michael) of Jackson, Itasha Spears Browski (Jason) of Thomasville, Bobby Howard (Mimi) of Cocoa, FL, and Christopher Roberson of Grantville; great-grandchildren, Madison Richardson and Hayden Richardson of Jackson, Maegan Howard of Cocoa, FL, Carson Roberson of Grantville, and Hannah Dixon Sperna (Michael) of New Port Richie, FL; great-great-grandchildren, Ava Sperna and Levi Sperna of New Port Richie; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Richard Clay officiating. Interment will follow in Meriwether Memorial Gardens in Manchester at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
