Mr. Jordon Nicholas Peacock, 24, of Sharpsburg, passed away, Monday, December 5, 2022.
Jordon was born in Atlanta on April 6, 1998 at 5:36 p.m. He loved God, his family, his friends, and his dog, Chubb. He loved sports and played baseball as a younger child. He was a perfectionist in everything, not stopping until it was just right. He was observant, motivated, a self-starter, and adventurous. He loved the mountains and camping there brought him peace. His brother says he represented a leader and a kind soul. His sister says he represented hard work and compassion. His stepbrother described him as thoughtful. His stepsister described him as silly and kind. To know him was to love him. He loved big and it was our honor to love him. Jordon was an organ donor and because of his gift, several others have been blessed.
Survivors include his mother, Kristie Surfus; father, Greg Peacock (Lori); sister, Kinaleigh Peacock; brother, Jacob Peacock; stepsister, Ava Neff; stepbrother, Micah Neff; grandparents, Sam and Kina Surfus, Don Peacock, and Leigh Peavy.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022, with Pastor Clint Byars officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the funeral home.
