Jeremiah William Hayes, affectionately known as "J Bo," died Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Born on April 9, 1980, in McDonough, Georgia, J Bo was a beacon of kindness, love, and humor that touched the lives of all who knew him. J Bo was a dedicated worker, serving as the shipping department lead at Elite Foam. His leadership skills were evident in his work, where he was not only a supervisor but also a mentor to many. His colleagues admired his dedication and commitment, and he was known for his ability to bring a smile to anyone's face, even during the most stressful times. Beyond his professional life, J Bo was a passionate fan of Georgia football. His love for the game was infectious, and he was known for his spirited cheers and unwavering support for his team. His enthusiasm extended beyond the football field, as he was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh with those around him.
Survivors include his fiancé, Elma Ogaya; daughters, Alexis Hayes, and Madison Hayes; brothers, Tony Askew, and Justin Hayes; aunts, uncles, and other family members.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Anthony Grant officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
