Jenna Lee Lightfoot, 40, of Sharpsburg passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Jenna was born December 1, 1984, in Belleville, Illinois, a daughter of Gary R. Lightfoot and Vicky Gonzales Lightfoot. Jenna's academic pursuits led her to the University of Iowa, where she earned a Master of Physician Assistant, a testament to her dedication and intellect. Her career as a Physician Assistant at Ageless Wellness Center in Peachtree City was not just a job but a calling. Jenna's compassionate care and unwavering commitment to her patients exemplified the very essence of her character. Before moving to Georgia, Jenna was an active member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Goodyear, Arizona, where her involvement went beyond mere attendance. She lived her faith and used it as a foundation to build a community of love and support around her. Jenna found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid cook, whose culinary creations were a demonstration of her love for friends and family. Her hands were rarely still, as she found solace and joy in making jewelry, scrapbooking, and card making. Jenna's love for the great outdoors was evident to all who knew her, her outdoor activities were not just exercises in recreation but acts of worship, celebrating the beauty of the world around her. Before her passing, Jenna enjoyed the companionship of her beloved Irish Wolfhound, Tally. Jenna's legacy is one of kindness, service, and a life richly lived. While her physical presence will be deeply missed, the impact of her life will continue to resonate in the hearts and minds of those she touched.
Survivors include her parents, Gary and Vicky Lightfoot of Sharpsburg; her sister, Lita Melton, also of Sharpsburg; and nieces, Kaiya, Kaylee, and Paige.
