Mrs. Jeannine McGriff Henderson, 92, widow of the late Hubert Ray Henderson, died Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Legacy Village in Tifton.

Born September 9, 1928, in Headland, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Don Murray McGriff and the late Lila Mae Drew Hodges.  Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, family dinners, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She liked to play golf and watch golf and enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Henderson, and siblings, Don McGriff, Jr., and Martha Kate Whiddon.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Henderson (Dianne) of Albany; daughter, Nancy Henderson Hawkins (Donnie) of Tifton; grandchildren, Leah Cason Slimp (Jason), Christi Bryant, John Cason (Aileen), Stephanie Henderson Hollenbeck (Ted), and Robert Henderson; and great-grandchildren, Rylee Bryant, Bentley Bryant, Cason Johnston, Hagan Slimp, Hudson Slimp, Caleb Hollenbeck, Emma Hollenbeck, Abby Hollenbeck, Luke Hollenbeck, Chasity Cason, Aria Cason, Neelia Lynn, Jada Lynn, and Toni Lynn.

The family will hold a private graveside service in Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Saturday, June 19, 2021.
