Jeannette F. Brown

Mrs. Jeannette F. Brown, 76, of Newnan, died Monday, October 5, 2020 at Atlanta Medical Center. 

Born December 17, 1943 in Bartow County, she was a daughter of the late William McKinley Messer and the late Nellie Frances Walden Messer.  Mrs. Brown was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed sewing, cooking and being with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Little Mack and James Bullins; and great granddaughter, Kinsley Benedict.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Charles Lee Brown; daughters, June Darlene Malcom (Eddie), Wanda Suzanne Williams (Jerry), Judy Marlene Harbin (Ed), Cindy Arlene Strickland (Billy) and Rebecca Lee (Justin); sons, Tim Hemrick (Tamma) and Tim Brown (Amy); grandchildren, Carl, Donna, Chris, Christie, Jenni Lynn, Tim Jr., Latisha, Natasha, Jackie, Justin, Alycia, Jessica, Tiffany, Michael II and Patrick; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Lily Mae Addie; and brother, Bobby Eugene Messer.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home Hillcrest Chapel. A graveside funeral service will be held in Luthersville City Cemetery on Thursday afternoon, immediately following the visitation at the funeral home.
