Mr. James Kyle Johnson, 33, of Greenville, died Monday, April 11, 2022, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
Born January 16, 1989, in East Point, he was a son of Robert Paul Johnson and Christine Michelle Ferrell Johnson. Kyle was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, a member of Palmetto First United Methodist Church and was attending Greenville United Methodist Church. He loved adventure and enjoyed riding dirt bikes and sky diving. He also enjoyed working on his 4Runner. Kyle was a beloved husband, son, grandson, cousin, and friend, who will be missed by all who knew him.

Johnson; mother, Chrissy Johnson; brother, Clayton Johnson; sister, Kaylee Mealor; grandmother, Elizabeth Ferrell; grandfather, Ronnie Ferrell; mother and father-in-law, Mandy & Doug Halstead; aunts and uncles, Artie Keys (Beverly), Wayne Ferrell, Linda McCoy (Fred), Elizabeth Hayes (Dennis), Cliff Johnson (Vanusa), Ruth Peeples (Danny), Lee Johnson (Gayla), Tommy Johnson, Barbara VanMeerten (James), Patricia Fountain (Robert); sisters-in-law, Nina Halstead and Rilee Croker; cousins, Avery Ferrell, Dustin Ferrell, Mike McCoy (Lisa), Wendy Creel (Jay), Joey Johnson (Susan), Justin Hayes (Amber), Erica McCoy (Mike), Matthew Peeples (Lauren), Christopher Peeples (Destiny), Karlee Ferguson (Chaz), Katie Johnson, Adriele Holanda Ximenes (Humberto), Bianca Johnson, Jennifer McMillian, James Van Meerten, Amanda Keys, and Michael Keys; and Jack Loumakis.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022, in Hillcrest Chapel with Reverend Dan Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery in Palmetto. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
