Mrs. Glynda Elizabeth McKenzie, 74, of Palmetto, widow of the late Dillard McKenzie, died Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Born July 3, 1949, in Atlanta, she was a daughter of the late Glen Harold Camp and the late Dorothy Martha Petran Stephens. Glynda retired from Barrow Wrecker Service in Smyrna after 22 years as a dispatcher. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved to watch her soap operas.
Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Deloach London, and Randee Lynn Camp; sons, William Leon Deloach, Jr., and John Emmitt Deloach; sister, Jonnie Cochran; grandchildren, Steven Chalker, James Cargle, Jr., Jonathan Cargle, Elizabeth Cargle, Mary Lewis, David Chalker, and Jesse Garrett; great-grandchildren, Jaydon Williams, Jamie Cargle, Chloe Chalker, Noah Rice, Greyson Cameron, Levi Thrash, Braxton Simth, Ivy Morgan, Allison Cargle, Rachel Garrett, Jesse Garrett, Jr., Gracie Garrett, William Garrett, Gabby Garrett, and Colt Williams.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
