George Warren Howard, Jr.

Mr. George Warren Howard, Jr., 65, of Tallapoosa, died Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Born July 16, 1956, in Stockbridge, he was a son of the late George Warren Howard, Sr., and the late Elsie Truelove Howard. Mr. Howard was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and travelling to the mountains or to the beach. He enjoyed driving his truck and bluegrass music, but he loved fixing and tinkering with lawn mowers.

Survivors include his wife Patsy Haynes; daughters, Elizabeth Howard (Derek Dockery) of Fayetteville, and Krystal Howard (Mandy) of Lizella; son, George W. Howard, III of Panama City Beach, FL; grandchildren, Emmitt White, Caitlyn White, Haley Bridges, and Luke Worthington; and great-grandchildren, Maddie White, McKinley White, K J Bridges, Kayla Kenny, Fischer Kenny, Hunter Kenny, Tucker Haynes, and Sissy Hammonds.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021, in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Terry Calhoun officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, one hour prior to the service.
