Frances Jakubauskas Obituary

Mrs. Frances Christine Jakubauskas, 89, passed away, Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Westbury Nursing and Rehab in McDonough.

Born November 12, 1930 in Florence, AL, she was the daughter of the late Luther A. Gooch and Lessie Canerday Gooch. Frances spent most of her career working and living in the Chicago area as a telephone Sales Representative for United Airlines. She enjoyed art and was a fashionista. She loved her " Jake" (Raymond), living at their place on the lake and trips to Hawaii. She also enjoyed a glass of Chardonnay with her favorite Chicago food Home Run Inn Pizza. You could always count on her to send special occasion cards to make you feel loved. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Gooch.

Survivors include her sons, Barry F. Redding (Delinda Behel) and Terry D. Redding (Shirley Okrzesik); grandchildren, Christopher A. Redding, Jennifer A. Redding Baker, Danielle Redding and Megan Redding; and brothers, James C. Gooch (Ruby Hodges) and Donald C. Gooch (Sherri Ashman).
