Eddie Henderson, 77, of Newnan, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2023, at his home in Newnan. He was born on December 12, 1945, in Fort Payne, AL, to the late Ben and Mary Henderson.
He married the love of his life, Joyce Ann, in September of 1965 and they had 2 daughters. He was a veteran and Lance Corporal of the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from the Fulton County Board of Education after 35 years of service. He was an avid University of Alabama fan, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and started doing Taxidermy as his favorite pastime. He was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Pam Hughes (Scott) and Susan Boyd both of Sharpsburg; and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the graveside, in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Bryan Calhoun officiating.
