Donald Vinson Hayes

Donald Vinson Hayes, 77, of Newnan, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his residence.

Donald was born on September 16, 1948, in Atlanta, to the late Dorothy Dillingham Hayes and the late Owen Bonner Hayes. He worked for Southern Airways and retired from Northwest Airlines as a stock clerk. He went to be employed with Old Castle before officially retiring. He was a member of Community Christian Church in Sharpsburg. He enjoyed golf and softball. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who truly loved his family and will be dearly missed by them.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Leslie Hayes; children, Christy Hayes, Bonner Hayes and Sally Hayes; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

A celebration of Donald’s life will be announced at a later date.
