Dennis Franklin Goodall

Mr. Dennis Franklin Goodall, 80, of Newnan, Died Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Grady Hospital in Atlanta.

Born September 21, 1939 in North Tonawanda, New York, he was a son of the late Franklin Goodall and the late Ethel Ladana Gylovic.  Mr. Goodall was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from Kason Industries.  Dennis loved the Lord and was an accomplished musician and bass player, playing in a band when he was younger and for many years at his church.  He never met a stranger and enjoyed playing practical jokes and making people laugh.  He also loved to read and was an avid magazine collector.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Jean Deakin; a grandson, Yates Goodall; and a brother, Harvey Goodall.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jane Goodall; daughters, Jacqueline Marie Wilson (John Frank) of Abbeville, SC, and Jennifer Lynn Goodall of Newnan; sons, James Andrew Goodall, John David Goodall, and Jason Eric Goodall (Jennifer), all of Newnan; sisters, Patricia Marinck and Phyllis Beiter; 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Steven Craven officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service.
