Deborah Jean (Gill) Parkerson

Mrs. Deborah Jean Gill Parkerson, 56, of Senoia, died Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at her residence.

Born June 16, 1963 in Newnan, she was a daughter of the late James Harold Gill and the late June Askew Gill.  Deborah loved the beach and was a very generous and caring person.  She was affectionately known to many as “Mama Debbie” for taking in and helping those in need, two legged or four legged.

Survivors include her husband, Harry A. Parkerson, Jr.; daughter, Samantha Martindale (Jamin) of Newnan; sons, Drew Barnett (Jessica) of Moreland and Luke Mullins (Jessie) of Palmetto; brothers, Tony Crabtree and Tim Crabtree; her uncle, who raised her, Millard Askew; and grandchildren, Jamin Martindale, Alyssa Martindale, Makenzie Barnett, Liam Barnett, Cayleb Cooney, Carmen Cooney, Luke Mullins, Logan Mullins, Bristol Mullins, and one on the way, Deborah Mullins.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Harold Simmons and Brett Lundy officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
