Mr. David Robert Jobin, 59, of Newnan, died Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Born March 16, 1963, in Manchester, New Hampshire, he was a son of the late Peter Joseph Jobin and the late Barbara Ann Mira Jobin. David was of the Catholic faith and was a veteran of the United States Army. David was a member and Past Commander of Sweeney Post #2, American Legion in Manchester, NH, and worked as a canine handler for TSA for 21 years. He enjoyed spending time with children and grandchildren and loved being outside. He enjoyed golf, horseshoes, and Georgia Bulldog football. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Michael Stiasny, and a brother Peter Edward Jobin.
Survivors include his wife, Susan M. Jobin; children, David Robert Jobin, II (Kristy) of Bow, NH, Nicole Curran (Michael) of Bradenton, FL, Shane Michael Jobin (Samantha) of Hooksett, NH, Scott Parents of Manchester, NH, Shannon Stiasny, also of Manchester, and Sarah Cameron (Brian) of Merrimack, NH; brother, Thomas Arthur Jobin (Kelly) of Manchester; grandchildren, Dylan, Rhory, Kylie, Keira, Joshua, Michael, Tyce, Caylee, and Ruby; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Additional funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Conner-Healy Funeral Home in Manchester, New Hampshire. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Manchester.
