Dale Eugene Young

USAF Retired Chief Master Sergeant Dale Eugene Young, 93, of Anacortes, WA, passed away, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, in Newnan.

Born June 30, 1929, in Anacortes, WA, son of the late Rena Opal Young and the late Robert Hamilton Young. Dale served as a medic, during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was  an active member at Heatherwood Baptist Church and also a member of the VFW. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandson and great-granddaughter. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Jeanne Young.

Survivors include his daughter, Debra Jeanne Litton (Stephen); grandson, Christopher Stephen Litton (Emily); and great granddaughter, Elinor Jeanne Litton.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Heatherwood Baptist Church, with Pastor Joel Smelley officiating.
