Clifford Bishop "Pops" Obituary
Mr. Clifford Bishop “Pops”, 83, of Senoia, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Mr. Bishop was born on December 26, 1935 in Senoia, to the late Clarence Bishop and the late Mary Kellum Bishop. He was well known in the community for his grading work, where he built many lakes and ponds in the surrounding counties. He enjoyed working outdoors, being on his heavy equipment and working in his shop.
Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Clifford Carl Bishop, Kenney and Kelly Bishop and Frankie Bishop; grandchildren, Joey Michael Bishop and Christopher Brian Bishop and his wife Cortney; great-grandchildren, Joey Michael Bishop, Jr., Christopher Ty Bishop and Landon Berry; and brothers, Lloyd Bishop and Harold Bishop.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Richard Clay officiating. Interment will follow in Senoia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home Hillcrest Chapel.
