Obituary

Mrs. Charlotte Elaine Couvillion, 80, of Senoia, died Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born December 7, 1942, in Haralson, she was a daughter of the late W. A. Smith, and the late Elsie Ruth Thompson Smith. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Max. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Freddie Anthony Couvillion, Jr., and a brother, Wallace Thompson.

Survivors include her sons, Craig C. Couvillion (Kelly), and Davis Joseph Couvillion (Shannon), all of Sharpsburg; brother, Ronnie Smith (Linda) of Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Monique, Kaydin, Nick, Justin, Brett, and Christy; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
