Carl Edward Deleshaw, Jr.

Mr. Carl Edward Deleshaw, Jr., 73, of Newnan, died Sunday, February 9, 2020 at his residence.

Born December 3, 1946 in East Point, son of the late Carl Edward Deleshaw, Sr., and the late Evelyn Camp Deleshaw.  Carl proudly served his Country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968.  He was an amazing father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and soldier.  Carl always made people smile and would give you the shirt off his back. He was a great man, and he will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his daughter, Dawn; son and daughter-in-law, Kyle & Ashley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky & Ken and Brenda & Jerry; grandchildren, Justin, Kelsey, Brenden, Baileigh, Brock, and Marleigh; great-grandchildren, Kasey and Kaiden; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Craig Walden officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
