Obituary

Mr. Bradford Paul “Brad” Parsons, 61, of Newnan, died Monday, September 13, 2021, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born August 10, 1960, in Miami, Florida, he was a son of the late Robert Paul Parsons and the late Sheila Ann Race Phelps.  Mr. Parsons was of the Baptist Faith and was a Veteran of the United States Navy.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.  Brad was an avid Miami Hurricanes football fan and enjoyed going to the beach.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Parsons.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Joy Parsons; sons, Bradford Paul Parsons, Jr. of Sharpsburg, Brett Parsons (Sara), and Robert Parsons, all of Newnan; sister, Deedee Edwards (Kirk) of Monument, Colorado; granddaughter, Paisleigh Parsons, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Michael Stewart officiating.  Interment will be private.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 in memory of Mr. Parsons.
