Blanch Bailey Obituary

Blanch Bailey, 94, of Newnan, passed away, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Newnan Health and Rehab.

Born November 14, 1930, in Carrollton, to the late Mayfield Driver and the late Mary Smith Driver. Blanch was a member of East Newnan Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and had a green thumb for gardening. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Charles D. Bailey; son, Darrell Bailey; sister, Louise Jackson; and brothers, Wayne Driver and Ernest Driver.

Survivors include her children, Cheryal Ann Bailey and Dwayne Bailey (Jane); grandchildren, Phillip Bailey (Glenda), Beth Talley, Crystal Bailey, Chris Bailey and Jennifer Bailey; great grandchildren, Javid Coleman, Tyler Bailey, Ghlyanna Bailey, Addie Bailey, Hunter Postelle, Carly Postelle, Heaven Postelle, Dawson Talley and Hudson Talley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pasto Todd McClain officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the funeral home.
