Mrs. Bernice P. Cochran, 89, died, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Avalon Health and Rehabilitation.
Born February 6, 1931 in Banning, GA, she was the daughter of the late Prince Patterson and the late Lois Thompson Patterson. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Cochran; sisters, Florence Elizabeth Patterson and Linda Clark; brothers, Shirley Patterson, Billy Patterson, Roy Patterson, Johnny Patterson and Larry Patterson.
Survivors include her daughters, Anita Noble (Michael) of Newnan and Kay Hemmings (Ronald) of Franklin; grandchildren, DeWayne Cochran, Jason Smith, Dan Smith, Jonathan Hemmings, Crystal Hemmings and Ronald Hemmings, Jr.; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Gentry of Carrollton and Faye Hite of Sharpsburg; brother, Terry Patterson (Susie) of LaGrange; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Orr officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 from 6:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
