Benjamin Joel Minix

Mr. Benjamin Joel Minix, 46, of Grantville, died Sunday, November 19, 2023, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born September 3, 1977, in Newnan, he was a son of Margie Huggins Bryant and the late Horace F. Minix. Ben was a family man with a big heart. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, and family, and loved helping others. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and anything outdoors. Ben was a hard worker and had a talent for many things. He loved riding his Harley and spending time with friends.

Survivors include his daughters, Alex Minix, Samantha Black (Jacob), and Megan Wooten; his mother, Margie Bryant (Randy); grandson, Maverick Black; brothers, Clint Minix (April), and Ryan Minix (Stephanie); a sister, Meg St. Germain (Sean); and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel with Mr. Russell Huggins officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
