Allen G. Thomas

Allen G. Thomas, 86, a retired Army 1st Sgt. (E-8), went to Heaven January 9, 2021.  Having served two tours in the Vietnam War, Allen was the recipient of the Bronze Star as well as many other accolades during his military career.

Allen is preceded in passing by his parents, Gordon and Angie Thomas along with his loving wife of 62 years, Christine Thomas.  Allen and Christine traveled the world and settled in Granbury, Texas where for many years they enjoyed a full life with family and friends. For the last four years, Allen enjoyed living near his daughter Regiena and son-in-law John in Atlanta, GA.

Allen is survived by his daughter Sinda Blust of Ft. Worth, TX, daughter Regiena Murray and husband John of Atlanta, GA and his son Ron Thomas and wife Marji of South Point, OH.  He is also survived by grandson Donnie Blust and daughter Brylee of Ft. Worth, TX, granddaughter Kristie Bryant and husband Judson of Ft. Worth, TX and grandson Steve Richardson and wife Christina and sons Braedon, Ayden and Caydin of Bryan, TX.  Allen is also survived by his sister Irene Lowe of Haysville, KS.

A graveside service will be held at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery on January 25th at 11:30 a.m.
