Willine A. Barnet, 97, of Moreland, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the Haven at Newnan.

Willine was born on September 5, 1927, in Fairburn to the late W. B. Adams and the late Era Roberts Adams. She worked as a computer operator for 40 years at Chrysler and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching Fox news. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jimmie Barnet and sisters, Opal Adams, Eunice Scarbrough, Jessie Dodson, Christine McDuffey and Elizabeth Perkins.

Survivors include her daughters, Charlotte Barnet and Rita Barnet, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Hillcrest Chapel with Dr. William Scarbrough and Rev. Patrick Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in College Park City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service, on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the funeral home.
