Mr. William Lane, 90, of Newnan, died Monday, December 29, 2025, at his residence.

Born January 15, 1935, in Cedartown, Georgia, he was a son of the late William Clarence "WC" Lane and the late Jewel Astin Lane. Mr. Lane proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran during the Korean War, demonstrating honor and dedication throughout his service. He was a member of Bigham Lodge #53, F&AM, and the Yaarab Shrine Temple in Atlanta, reflecting his commitment to community and fellowship. With a passion for electronics, Mr. Lane owned and operated Lane's TV Service from the mid-1960s until his retirement in 2000, earning the respect and trust of his customers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Lane Kitrell, and his brother, Bobby Lane.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Mary Lane; son, Tony Lane; brother, Joe Lane (Carol); granddaughter, Erica Lane; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private graveside service.
