Mr. William Daniel "Bill" Atkins, 51, of Roanoke, Alabama, formerly of Newnan, died Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.

Born November 29, 1970, in Newnan, he was a son of Virginia Louise Cash Newborn and the late Daniel Atkins. Bill was a member of Glenn Baptist Church in Franklin. He loved to fish and build things our of wood, he was also an accomplished artist.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie L. Atkins; daughters, Danielle Atkins of Franklin, and Ann Marie Atkins of Newnan; mother, Virginia Newborn of Newnan; sister, Samantha Atkins Stone of LaGrange; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Jamie Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022, and Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the funeral home.
