Wanda Verneise
(Windsor) Goss
February 17, 1955 – September 21, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Verneise Goss of Newnan on Saturday September 21, 2024. She was born February 17, 1955, in a US Army Hospital in Heidelberg Germany to her late parents James and Nellie Windsor.
She is loved by so many and a blessing to all who knew her. Always sweet, loving, kind, lighthearted, funny, and of course beautiful. She loved her family, friends, pets, gardening, nature, travelling, music, vibrant colors, coffee, and chocolate.
For many years she worked in retail but later in life became passionate about gardening. She decided to enroll in and complete the Horticulture program at Gwinnett Technical College in 2012. She shared her knowledge of flowers and plants with many who would rely on her for advice with their own gardens and landscaping.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Larry Windsor; sister, Margaret Windsor; and nephew, Matthew Trollinger.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Sean Goss; children, Beth Binford and Traci Binford; grandchildren, Alessandra Ricard, and Julian Ricard; sister-in-law, Nelda Windsor; sister, Gloria (Tony) Radford; and niece, Trisha Radford.
Wanda, there are no words that accurately describe how deeply you will be missed and the everlasting influence you have made on those you leave behind. Heaven gained a fully trained angel who is no doubt inspiring other angels to step up on their sweetness.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Brain Tumor Association at https://www.abta.org/ways-to-donate/
