Mrs. Wanda Lou Eskew, 64, of Newnan, widow of the late Danny Eskew, passed away, Sunday, July 14, 2024, at her residence.

Born December 13, 1959, in Anniston, AL, she was a daughter of the late Virgil Bonner and the late Macie Hunter Bonner. Wanda worked at Walmart for many years, where she made many friends. She also worked in home healthcare and enjoyed building relationships with all her patients. She was a fan of Alabama football and loved going to the dog track with her husband, Danny. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jimmy Bonner, Ricky Bonner, Marie Bonner, Carol Roberts, Eulene Sears and Linda Foxworth.

Survivors include her son, Jason Alford (Taylor); brother, Jerry Bonner (Rita); stepdaughters, Melanie Lawrence (Scott), Nita Bishop (Kenny) and Rebecca Thomason; stepson, Mark Eskew;19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Hillcrest Chapel with Reverend Kathy Broadwater officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
