Mr. Thomas Mark Massengale, 58, of Grantville, died Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born August 6, 1962 in Newnan, he was a son of the late James Davis Massengale and the late Barbara Jean Smith Massengale.  Mark was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly and loved his Church family.  He was a truly kind soul and had served his community as a Georgia Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1988.  Mark worked on the staffs of Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville and McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan. He enjoyed travel and eating at different restaurants he found during his travels.  In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by a sister, Lynda Allison; and nephews, Rodney Groover and Dane Daniel Lee Dickie.

Survivors include his brother, Mike Massengale, and his wife Rose of Senoia; sister, Lynn Massengale of Sharpsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside will be held at Senoia City Cemetery and a public memorial service will be planned for a later date.
