Terry Lee Akers, 64, of Waco, passed away, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Newnan.

Born on August 5, 1959, in Huntington, WV, to the late Delbert Akers, Jr. and the late Leeanna Campbell. Terry was a journeyman with the Sheet Metal Workers Union and an HVAC Technician. He enjoyed riding his Harley, playing acoustic and electric guitar, working on his house, sitting in and enjoying nature, and was an avid fan of all forms of automotive racing. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Kathleen Akers; son, Robert Michael Reagan; sister, Teresa Ward; cousins, Todd Evans, Beverly Read and Vicky Mullins; close friend of 45 years, Cindy Matthews; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
