Steven Eugene Land II, 41, of Newnan, GA passed away peacefully of natural causes on the evening of February 1, 2023. He was born November 16, 1981, in Orlando, FL to his loving parents Steven and Deborah Land. After receiving his GED, Steven went on to become an accomplished heavy machine operator, most recently working as a GPS Bulldozer Operator at Brent Scarbrough & Co Inc.

To his family, Steven will be remembered as a devoted father to his daughter Haley, or as he liked to call her, "Boo Boo," a loving husband to his wife Jennifer, and a supportive son and brother to his dad, Steven, and younger brother, Preston.

To know Steven was to love him. He was the type of person who wanted to make everyone smile. His sense of humor was unique, and his laughter was contiguous. He had a creative soul, drawing and playing guitar in his free time, and an adventurous spirit, taking road-trips with his best girls, Jennifer and Haley, every chance he got. These are the qualities that will live on in those who had the privilege of knowing him.

While Steven carried many titles in his life, the one he was most proud of was "daddy". Haley was Stevens best accomplishment, and watching her grow brought him immense joy and pride.

Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Land, and grandparents, Thomas and Mildred Harris.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Land; adoring daughter Haley (Shelley) Land; stepsons, Lee, Brendan, and Sean Chestnut; father, Steven Land; brother, Preston (Ashley) Land; niece, Presley Land; sisters, Susie Land, Kimberly Land, and Gina Wheatley; and many loving aunts, uncles, and friends.

A memorial service, celebrating the light that his life brought to so many, will be held at Hillcrest Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023, with Pastor Ken Austin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the funeral home.
