Stanley Ray Hodnett, 66, of Grantville, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Born August 3, 1960, in Opelika, Alabama, he was a son of the late Jimmie Lee Hodnett and the late Josie Mae Webster Hall. Stanley will be remembered as a hardworking man who served as a supervisor for Hoshizaki America. He also found great joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and those moments surely brought him some of his greatest happiness. His life was marked by devotion to work, enjoyment of family, and appreciation for everyday experiences that made life rich and memorable. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Kathy Stinchcomb, Linda Smith, and Evelyn Seiler; and a grandson, Ray Miller.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Teresa Hodnett; children, Jennifer Cole (Brad), Stanley Ray Hodnett, Jr. (Julie), Crystal Hodnett, and Christan McLeod (Nick); brothers, Jody Hodnett (Ginger), Danny Markward, and Robert Hall (Kayla); sisters, Sandy Thompson (John), Karen Calhoun (Jeff), Maryann Pitts (Doug), Susan Primavera, and Sharon Pitchford (Darren); grandchildren, Cody Durrough, Kris Harris, Allen McLeod, Katy Jo McLeod, Juniper McLeod, Craven Cole, Michael Green, and Tiffany Mooney; bonus mom, Melanie Hodnett; bonus dad, Bobby Hall (Marie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
