Mrs. Silvia C. Shaw, 73, of Newnan, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at her residence.

Born September 10, 1946 in Havana, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late R. Cabrera and the late Andrea Manzano.  Silvia attended Macedonia Baptist Church and enjoyed an active social life.  She loved to travel and enjoyed fishing and gardening.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Eric Canete.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Shaw; daughter, Melissa Frambes of Newnan; son, Ralph Canete (Karen) of Douglasville; grandchildren, Aubrey Frambes, Danielle Cox, and Jason Wright; great-grandchildren, Ethan Wright and Lucas Wright; and her other son, Zach Floyd.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel.

The family suggests that those who wish make donations to Royal Animal Refuge, 341 Senoia Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269 in memory of Silvia.
