Mrs. Shirley Ann Fowler, 83, of Franklin, formerly of Newnan, died Friday, April 21, 2023, at PruittHealth – Franklin.

Born March 10, 1940, in Auburn, GA, she was a daughter of the late Kermit Sizemore and the late Ruby Gilliland Sizemore. Shirley was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed spending time with family, and even raising some of her grandchildren. She called herself a "neat freak", and always wanted everything in its place. Shirley enjoyed sitting on the porch with her friends from her neighborhood and they affectionately referred to themselves as the "Golden Girls". In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Stanley Fowler, Kathy Quinton, and Cindy O'Brien.

Survivors include her siblings, Donald Sizemore, Anthony Sizemore, Jane Rice, Caroline Morgan and Barbara Morgan; grandchildren, Jennifer, Lindsey, Tyler, Jessica, and Michael; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Caleb, Trinity, Lacey, and Thea; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
