Sarah Lee Crider, 81, of Newnan, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022, at her residence.

Born July 20, 1940, in Newnan, to the late Duma Lee Mote and the late Kathleen Williamson Mote. She was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Carrollton. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Roy Varnadoe and 2nd husband, Ruben Crider.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen Beall, Debra Clark (Dennis) and Ann Kelley (Tim); son, Roy Edward Varnadoe, Jr. (Kim); grandchildren, Dawn, Tommy, Randy, Will, Sarah, Christy and Carrie; 14 great grandchildren; Bobby Mote, Charles Mote and Ronnie Mote.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Hillcrest Chapel. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton. The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
