Mrs. Sandra Joyce Prescott, 72, of Newnan, widow of the late Clyde Vernon Prescott, died Friday, September 4, 2020 at her residence.

Born July 30, 1948 in Senoia, she was one of twelve children born to the late Herman Luke Hunnicutt and the late Lena Beaulah Hannah Hunnicutt.  Mrs. Prescott was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed quilting, embroidery, and crocheting.  She loved to spoil her grandchildren and was a wonderful cook who was know for her homemade jams and jellies.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Carleen Mills (Donnie) of Lanett, AL, and Debbie Miller of Newnan; son, Charles Prescott (Rachel) of Senoia; brothers, Herman Hunnicutt of St. George Island, FL, and Tony Hunnicutt of Columbus; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Hillcrest Chapel.  Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
