Mrs. Sandra Chambers Herrick, 52, of Sharpsburg, passed away, on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

She was born on October 29, 1971, in East Point, to the late James Robert Chambers, Sr. and the late Joanne Cooley Chambers. Sandra was a server for many years at the Historic Green Manor in Union City. She took great pride in her job and made many life-long friends through co-workers and customers. She loved animals (especially dogs), a good ice-cold orange soda, and trips to the river and the beach. She loved spending time with her family and was known as "Mimi" to her grandchildren. She was also a lover of rock, country and other genres of music, and transferred that love of music to her daughters. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Megan Leeann Herrick; husband, Christopher James Thomas; and brother, James Robert "Bobby" Chambers, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter and "Baby Cub", Jordan Breanna Thomas; grandchildren, Maple Rae Fetner and Warren Handley Fetner; sister, Kathy Chambers (Phil Maxwell); fur-baby and loyal companion, Bella Thomas and numerous extended family.

A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Newnan Church of Christ with Reverend Chris Pendley officiating.
